Regular Education Programs
On-campus classroom learning and intensive practical training at BAST Affiliated Centers
On-Campus Classroom Education
For students who seek full-time, hands-on instructions and direct interaction with instructors, the Board of Applied Sciences and Technology (BAST) offers Regular Education Programs. These are conducted at our network of approved and Affiliated Training Partner (ATP) centers located throughout Pakistan.
Regular programs are designed around active learning. They combine structured theoretical lectures with intensive laboratory work, workshops, and project-based assignments to ensure students develop high levels of technical competence and job-ready skills.
Why Choose a BAST Regular On-Campus Course?
- State-of-the-Art Labs: Gain experience utilizing professional machinery, computerized labs, and specialized tools at authorized ATP campuses.
- Expert Instructors: Learn from certified technical trainers with years of real-world industry experience.
- Structured Daily Schedule: Follow a standard semester or annual plan with mandatory attendance and regular face-to-face feedback.
- Direct Peer Collaboration: Work in groups, collaborate on technical projects, and build a strong network of professional peers.
Affiliated Training Partners (ATP) Network
Regular courses are hosted at registered colleges, institutions, and vocational training facilities. BAST performs regular quality checks on these campuses, auditing classroom sizes, laboratory equipment, safety standards, and teacher qualifications to guarantee a premium educational experience.
Students who attend regular classes at an ATP are registered directly with the Board database. When final exams occur, BAST sends external examiners to supervise practical assessments, ensuring uniform and transparent evaluation standards.
Curriculum Structure and Grading System
Our regular programs follow a strict academic calendar:
- Semester/Annual Division: Courses are divided into semesters (2 per year) or annual terms with predefined credit hours.
- Classroom Hours: Programs feature a minimum percentage of dedicated lab/practical hours (usually 60% practical, 40% theory) to emphasize hands-on proficiency.
- Grading Standards: BAST maintains high academic standards. The grading formula calculates percentages dynamically:
- 80% and above: A+ (Excellent)
- 70% - 79%: A (Very Good)
- 60% - 69%: B (Good)
- 50% - 59%: C (Satisfactory)
- 40% - 49%: D (Pass)
- Below 40%: Fail
