Terms & Conditions
Detailed academic and regulatory guidelines for BAST certification and admissions
1. Introduction and Agreement
These Terms and Conditions regulate the academic registration, training, assessment, and certification processes overseen by the Board of Applied Sciences and Technology (BAST) Islamabad. By submitting an online admission request or enrolling in BAST-approved courses, the candidate agrees to be bound by these regulations.
2. Admission and Registration Terms
Candidates must provide accurate and verifiable personal details (Name, CNIC, DOB, and prior qualification) during admission:
- Verification Check: BAST reserves the right to reject any application if the submitted documents are found to be incomplete, altered, or fraudulent.
- No Double Enrolment: A student cannot register for multiple regular on-campus programs under the same session timeline unless explicitly permitted by the Academic Council.
- Name Standards: Personal names will be printed on final certificates exactly as they appear on the candidate's matriculation degree or CNIC record.
3. Assessment and Certification Guidelines
Certificates and diplomas are issued strictly upon successful completion of curriculum benchmarks:
- Minimum Pass Marks: Students must obtain a minimum of 40% marks in both theory and practical exams separately to be eligible for certification.
- RPL Review: Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) candidates will only be certified if they satisfy the panel review check and demonstrate required competency.
- Grading Integrity: All final scoresheets, grades, and transcripts are generated dynamically using BAST grading parameters.
4. Registration Fees and Refund Policies
All registration, course, and exam fees must be paid through BAST-approved channels:
- Fees paid directly for admission forms, registrations, or examinations are non-refundable and non-transferable once the candidate profile is active in the database.
- Affiliated ATP centers must clear all student registration invoices before requesting marks uploads or certificate printing.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, logos, layout designs, certificate templates, DMC formats, curriculum guides, and portal software code are the intellectual property of the Board of Applied Sciences and Technology, Islamabad. Unauthorized duplication, scanning edits, or commercial imitation is legally actionable.
6. Termination and Registration Blocks
BAST reserves the absolute right to suspend, terminate, or block any student record or ATP affiliation in our database if the party is found in violation of the BAST Code of Conduct (e.g., submitting fake experience logs or engaging in exam compromises).
